Successful Outcome for Horses on Cropland Policy!

Here’s the final “Cropland Policy” as approved by the County Commissioners.

Our successes are in the main document:  Sec 7 (Livestock Management”) — we got them to drop prioritization for food and fiber for human consumption;  and Sec 8 (“Recreation Management” — we got them to drop restricting trails to the edges of properties.

Overall I think the County Commissioners and staff came up with a balanced set of policies for GMOs and integrated pest management (e.g. weeds, herbicides, etc) as well.

Yay!  and thanks for your support.  I wish this process hadn’t taken three solid months out of my life, but at least the process worked and we were successful.

Feel free to share.
